ps,
i know this may be hard, but i no longer do any financial transactions on the internet, i dont pay for anything on a card, cash only ,which i either withdraw from my branch, and in an emergency use my hole in the wall card ,but only from my branch, but am still very wary, i look over my shoulder i cover the keypad and check the machine for a false front or any tampering,(some people must think i'm mad,but i dont care) once bitten twice shy i just dont trust the systems anymore
Really good advice Guv, they even go through your rubbish grrr so shred any important papers. Change all your passwords too.

Awww crinks sorry this has happened to you and really hope you get it all back, so you can go on your travels hun xx

all good advice crink especially about on line banking and never use your card on line to pay anything especially a credit card. Can't speak for your country but here we are protect from this by our Canadian government. so stay at their throats on this one and good luck. Don't talk to a middle man go to the manager and if that doesn't work go higher. Get the police involved and a lawyer if necessary. Worked for a bank for 32 years and believe me they will try to do everything in their power not to take a loss. As far as the company that received the funds, you can get all that info from your bank and that should be enough to trace funds to the other end. Everything does have a paper trail. And as for the bank dragging their feet, get rid of them and ask your new bank this question, what if???? and get that in writing. Everthing is traceable so make yourself heard and go get your money and gl xx

Hi all......
Thanks for all the advice and support, what a 'family' of friends' you really are, luvs ya.
Just to let you know, that one card company has reimbursed all monies taken on their card, which is just under half the full amount, the one i'm waiting on is the bank which is actually the only one linked to this problem directly....the only source to connect to micro-soft!!!!
Go figure!...i'll let you know the out-come.

Thanks again all. xxxxx
