The Tiddly book

Debbie has asked me to build a list of people likely to buy the Book for Breast Cancer Charity. It will be completed in a weeks time, then I will send it to Debbie for her to add her bits and for her to edit. I have used some of your real names in the book and Debbie is worried that we could be open to court action if any of you decide to sue us. The people involved are Telboy, UCME, Future, Teabag,TopTab,and St Jimmy. To be honest I can't see anything in the book which would offend any of you, I hope It'll make you chuckle, but she has the experience of these things so we may need to sort that out. I suggested we charge 6.50 sterling per copy but until she gets back to me that is not definite. It has turned into a mini biography since our friends tragic death as you can imagine but Debbie has sworn me to secrecy from now on lol, she thinks if you know too much you'll all back off buying it, I think everyone will want a copy as a memory of Jay. If you can PM me to give me an idea how many copies our members are likely to want it would help her sell the idea to the charity, we hope that they will pay for the publishing, otherwise we may have to think again. Yes Clare, my wife died of Cervical Cancer, I think we all must know someone who suffered with one form or another and It will be a lasting memory of Tiddly, he made all of us laugh at one time or another, this will be his last post.

Hey Fred -- the name's DEB by the way -- but I'll let it slide, just this once!

I have asked Fred not to give away any of the story, not because I don't think you guys will still buy it, but because I think you'll all enjoy it so much more reading it for the first time without knowing what's about to happen! I'm looking forward to reading it and editing it, and no doubt adding bits in myself -- once Fred and I are both happy with it, we'll get it published, even if we have to self-publish.

I have contacted the charity, for two reasons: 1) To ask them if they can help with anything and 2) To ask them about their policy on the use of 'colourful' language, because, Fred, you and I both know this needs to be COLOURFUL!!!

Ha, ha, sorry Deb, I'm not keen on Freddy either. I decided at the start to let you add the colourful language as I wasn't sure how the charity people would react. You're right though it will be tame without a bit of choice swearing, or a lot of it lol. If I put in the language we'll only have to delete it, the bits Deb is going to add will give it it's final wallop.
