For anyone who lives near enough to attend:

Jay Jay Winter's (Tiddlyw1nk's)funeral will take place at Lawnswood Crematorium, Otley Road, Leeds, LS16 6AH on Thursday 4th Nov at 12.20pm. Dress code: whatever you want; Asomvel T-shirts, denim, leather, smart or casual, it's your choice -- there are no rules.

Family flowers only please (donations in lieu of flowers to Macmillan Cancer Support or Breakthrough Breast Cancer -- two charities close to Jay's heart)

thx for lettin us know Tidds Sis. altho some of us are on the other side of the world, we all loved and respected Jay. he was a great person and friend to us all. it has been an honour to have known him. we will always miss him and his wit.. and the CAPS as well. i am praying for u and your family and evry1 in this tough time.

Thank you so much -- I know there are so many of you who would love to be there, you have all been a great source of comfort to me -- I'm sure my obsession with reading people's posts must be an unheathly one!!

I prob wont be the last to say that reading all the messages left for Jay Jay IS NOT an unhealthy obsession hun.... i think its more of a help, as it shows you, the family and all Jay Jays close friends that you are not alone in your loss.......it is being felt, believe it or not....worldwide!!!!!!!, now i bet that might catch jay jay short for a few words for once...he's gone global!!

I think if it were possible, there would be a coach load of us OP players making the journey to Leeds, but in reality we will all be with you in our hearts on that day hun, and i know i will be playing some of his bands music 'full whack'.

last december and snow everywhere jay made a 10 hour trip down to london to meet up with some poker pals.i was one of them and intend to make the trip up to leeds.

hi sis we me and perry wished we could be there,only we live in holland.
We had the pleasure to meet him in Londen a month ago and hes such a lovely man its like we known him for years.
Hes still in our thoughts,we wish you the best in these very difficult time.

Thanks hun for letting us know, Tidds was one of my best friends here, I am still in shock over what happen, he will always be remember and forever missed, we had great fun here with him and one day we will all be sitting with him playing again, my family and I will keep you and family in our prayers. R.I.P. my dearest friend.

Wish I could attend but Canada is a bit of a stretch for me. So enjoyed my time on the table with Tidds, will miss him terribly as I know we all will. Everytime I tend to back off a bet, I remember what Tidds told me. Will be with you and your family in spirit. So wish I could have met him in person but unfortunately never had the honor. RIP my friend!
