As you all know I'm trying hard to finish a book about the London party for Tiddlywinks chosen charity. I've reached a stage where I desperately need tales about our late friend, he is understandably the main character now. I have asked Deb his sister to send me as many anecdotes as she can but if anyone on the site can offer amusing tales I would be very grateful. All who attended the London Party should have a few snippets, he must have entertained there. Thanks folks.

I remember one nite were were both hammered..and in NY times i think..had been talking about all sorts and we was laughing cuz we couldlt see cards..i was like ive got some red ones

I was in a tourney with Tidds, was all in, got beat, 200 chips appeared in front of me, from nowhere, i went on to get a silver medal, Tidds put up a thread about it, thats how i got my Casper avatar.

The sunday morning we were all rushing around having breakfast, getting sorted to leave and saying our farewells, after shaking hands and saying goodbye to jay in the dining room i then kept bumping into him, on the stairs, in the hallway etc (more shaking of hands and cya laters) the last time i bumped into him was outside the front of the hotel, we laughed and i said ffs not you again! we shook hands (yet again) Tidds gave me a bear hug (and a kiss of all things!) and sent me off with the immortal words..
"IVE ALREADY SAID GOODBYE TO YOU 5 TIMES, NOW **** OFF WOULDA YA!"

Maybe not a suitable story but again, classic Tidds and a memory of him i'm gratfull to have.

Best of luck with the book Fred mate and put me down for one for sure.

Thanks Rich, I'll fit that in no worry. You wouldn't want me to spoil it Arezzo, Flip knows the odd snippet, And Tiddly's Sis Deb read the first twenty odd pages but apart from letting the odd funny bit out I have to keep it to myself, no one would buy the thing otherwise lol.

Already got my tickets booked, Outer Mongolia, damn, should have kept that to myself, actually it's deepest Bangladesh Bradford I think they call it lol.

Whilst at the London party it got round as it does to showing tatoos , scars etc I spend a very memorable 5 minutes with tidds after the fourth tat it was FFS CAT HOW MANY YOU GOT!

I'm supposed to be retired lol and now I find I'm busier than when I was working. I have a book to write, a pile of trees outside to cut up with a chainsaw to keep the home fires burning. In between watching my horses run and the football on telly, then there's the poker. I need a secretary to assist the maid, she must be a good looker and willing to take on some of the maids duties. If I snuff it with a heart attack I leave all my chips to charity, nah, I might as well just lose them all like I've been trying to do for the last couple of months, you greedy lot lol.
