Top 20 Tournament

What do guys think about a top list top 20 players tournament, we could have the top 20 lps leaders have tournament, where instead of chips you win lps. Like first place would win 2 lps and second place would get 1 lp, and third place would get 1 million in chips, we could the tournament once week or 1 once a month.Please leave feed back and maybe we could present it to lava.

You could set it up as an Invitational tourney - book it on the calender, I doubt that LP's would be awarded though, as it would be unfair for other tournaments which the have normal payouts.

The only way LP's will be awarded is if you can convince 'Lava to set up a special standing weekly tournament... where you have a huge buy-in... like 2-5 million chips or something like that.

To expect that there'd be a tourney where 'free chips' are awarded would be patently unfair to the rest of the community. But a high buy-in table would seem feasible. Question is... if the buy-in were say, 3 million chips, how many would be willing to play? On a regular basis?

Well I think for those players that are not on the top 20 list would have something to look forward to, and maybe it would stop some of the bingo playing that goes on, also about how many chips it would cost we could have it set between 250k and 500k for the chance of winning lps. might also be a good idea to use the 1 mill/all sit n go tables a little more before more tourneys are added.

I'm wondering why you would use LP's as a selection criteria ? Would it not be better to have the top 20 Tournament players ?
