I would like to know what every one thought of the finals today ?? the first game was entertaining steady innings from kent an then essex came in all this hype about napier an he hit 3 Lol i knew it would happen, then middlesex an espeicially henderson really showin us some quality beatin the favourites durham who had the likes of collingwood playin an harmison who got absolutely smacked all over the park lol after gettin re called then the finalee i was genuinely surprised middlesex came out on top although i did think they would win after postin that huge total, shah was out standng he should be in the england sde right now only for vaughn bein a great captain, if it was purely based on form an quality shah would b in ahead of vaughn but despite the massive amount of runs needed kent fought well got off to a great start again with denly an key only to lose out on the final ball! great day an great advertisment for cricket
An what does every one think about all the funds bein invested in cricket, the IPL the EPL the 20:20 for twenty, the champions league, its all happening
I myslef believe the idea of 20 Twenty cricket is brialliant an great for the game but there is some doubt in my mind because I believe there may soon be too much played an will in the end be a brilliant idea jus wasted becuase of greedy millionaires wantin to make more money, i think it should gradually be built up but that wont happen
i mean i have to lugh though as much as i enbjoy playin an watchin cricket i think its comical the way many cricket fanatics genuinely believe it will overtake football(soccer) as the most played an watched an richest team sport in the world, its never gonna happen if they jus milk this form of the game but even then its a fat chance it will egt cloe to it either way lol

International cricket the Aussies are the best no doubt but i'm talkin about domestic cricket and ours would challenge any ones an it isin crap

first of all finals day was AMAZING i watched it all lol. ive always liked cricket but the twenty20 format 4 me is much more entertaining. with this stanford twenty20 for 20 coming up, i think it will open the door for other people to host big money games, which isnt all bad for english cricket. but i also agree that although cricket is popular, in this country and in the world, it will never come close to rivalling football. x x x

I missed it but saw some of the highlights. For me I'm a bit of a purist and perfer test match cricket, but you can't ignore the groundswell of support for 20/20 in recent times. Yesterdays semi finals did look very exciting though.
