McCain and Palin all the way! Otherwise we'll be over-taxed, burdened with oppressive government mandates, absorbed by a socialist ideology and speaking the language of radical Islamists. Come on my babies, lets take care of our babies ourselves and not let our liberties fall into the treacherous and un-caring hands of neo-communist pundits with no real answers and no real back-bone. Its not just about America, its about our faithful and noble allies, the English, Scots, Canadians, Australians, N'zers and every other freedom loving ally we hold dear. Lets rally together and realize the English speaking peoples must not be dominated by the few, but governed by the collective, good, peaceful and generous masses of our collective unity. : )

FYI: The original thread was closed because the nominees were not sorted then. If I remember correctly Hillary was still in it.

LOL, I wonder how many on this site can even vote in the election. Better than that, how many people will vote in the election.

I would have to disagree with you. I am far better off now than I was in the Clinton era.

okay yes this country was founded on christian principles and hence the swearing in on the bible for the past 200+ years, but doesn't it say in amendment #1 freedom of religion?

Just because he has different religious veiws doesnt mean that Obama should be penalized by that

If his so called equality really does exist should his views on things outside of politics really matter to the general public's opinion in the polls

throughout the history of the US every president has been of Protestant faith except for one, JFK

If the US is so equal why has the president been limited to the white male of protestant faith??

yes things were different before, but isn't it time for some change? Shouldnt people start voting on president based on their views, and not if they match the mold every president falls into

I am in no way saying that Obama should be the president, because obviously he has many faults to him. But his religous views should not be subject to attack, he has many other qualities to pick at, and so there is no reason to begin bringing religion into the reasons for choosing president, especially in this modern age of supposed equality.

i agree. religion should have no part in this. in my opinion though a connected lawyer propped up by george sorros with , well lets just say look up his voting record in illinois and washington, (all a matter of public record) common sense voters will figure it out

So it seems like from this thread that Poker is a Republican game. Any poker playing Democrats out there? (I'm British so can't vote)

sorry about that earlier post it was meant to be funny but maybe it was offensive to anyone who lost friends or family in the twin towers.
being a brit i obviously cant vote, nor would i if i could, as being governed by anything but my own conscience is unacceptable to me.

democracy is for sheep.

all i hope is that whoever wins turns out to be genuinely concerned about managing us home and foreign policy and your economy with the welfare of the whole of humanity in mind and not just your own citizens. however my cynical belief is that you're just going to end up with another set of money grubbing vultures causing havoc with the world economy to line their own pockets.
