What were your purposes for 2008?

As the year is ending I just wanted to know what you wanted to do in 08 and which of this you did.

Well mine were:

First try to improve my relationship with my girlfriend which I couldnt ( I think thats why I ended in this site)
Second travel more and try to know new places which I did (specially here in Colombia)
Third Try to be more united to y family
Finally I wanted to get a new car which I did

Mine was to upgrade my car. I bought a new one in January, and then another in September lol. But also shocked even myself when I bought a house... I thought I'd be renting forever. So, Yeah, I got the materialistic things I guess, but didn't get the one thing I really wanted

well i wanted to finish my degree, but between doing that full time and working full time i made myself very ill and unhappy so i dropped out of uni, at least i still have my job.

for next year i want to start taking the modules i need to get my degree part time with the ou, maybe another 2 yrs and i'll be qualified.

1- to get my wife to stop moaning about the nail fungus on my feet.
2- to get my sons to help me seperate the fresh fish from the seafood store garbage.
3- to get my family to stop whining about me playing poker day and night.
4- to see mr. cool spell a word wrong.<<<< i live for this one.
5- and finally and most important to have a happy "chrietmas" with my family.

my goal was to pass exams (which i did)... but most importantly, to find a site as gr8 as this one! I tried about 4 others b4 stumbling on this one, and afta 2 weeks i neva considered looking elsewhere! brilliant.

My intentions for 2008 are about completed (pats on back). By January 31, 2009, I will be almost totally debt free.

That was not my plan at the beginning of the year, but since health issues caused me to spend almost most of the year being a total social recluse (very unlike me), that was all I had to look forward to.

As of about 3 weeks ago, I got a clean bill of health (for now), my work situation just took a big turn for the better (Saturdays nights off starting in 2 weeks and 1 less night at the job I hate), so 2009 is looking really good for me now.

I'm happy as a virgin with $100.00 bill in a whorehouse.

lol something similar is happening to me now seems like I have to do something about that next year
