just wondering since i dont watch tv and if i'm not playing poker, i read a lot......... mine are

dan brown
karen rose
james patterson

all fictional i know but too many non fiction to mention although i will say prob the best bio's iv'e read are Richard Branson's and Frank Skinner's

martina cole is my fave she writes some fantastic books.. one was made into a 3 part series on sky1 called the take..

i also like dan brown he has wrote so fantastic books

like readin alot of real crime and autobiograpy books to

kez i have heard a lot about her and i might givr her a try soon but as you said Dan brown is fantastic and i would recommend his books to everyone, just finished his latest one 'the lost symbol' couldn't put it down!

Havnt read any modern fiction for years....prefer older books still go back to lovecraft,poe after all these years for an escape..love the language of that era

Still a big fan of michael moorcock,and robert e howard too..for non fiction..john keel(the mothman prophices)

Enjoy wrestlers bios too Foleys and ric flairs are great...

But 1984 has and i think allways will be the greatest book i have ever read....

i like steven king, ian rankin, ben elton and used to be avid james herbert reader too, all time fave has to shakespeare tho.....

rankin can be good( is it inspector rebus? ) an ive read the ben elton book about the big brother murder, cant remember the name but as much as i dont really like him i enjoyed that book
