YouTube - DCA Possible Cure for Cancer jus wonderin wht ur thoughts are on this???... i lost a friend to cancer in june and i think tht if there a chance there is something out there to cure cancer patients shouldnt it be used?. even if it dont make companies money... surly life is worth more??

i agree, that if there is something out there which could help cure cancer it should be used, regardless of whether is it gonna make money or not. There is no gurantee though, that it would effectively work on humans as so far only been tested on lab rats infected with human cancers cells. Definately should be looked into further. After my mums recent cancer scare, i would be disgusted if someone out there knew of a cure or possible cure but wouldnt allow it to be used as there was no profit to be made.

I think its sad how all this research is funded by goverments and donations and as soon as they make a breakthrough they want to rip us off by making huge profits when it was us that payed for it in the first place!!

If I knew of a drug out there that would cure cancer I would be giving it out like candy!! But Pony is right in that it needs to be tested and the possible long term effects studied before you give it out willy nilly. Though if i was in end stage or my loved one was I would want at least the chance given to me or mine. Lets hope that it is the cure or if not that at least the breakthrough that all of us who have lost someone have been hoping for , for so long

yeah i agree to, but this should be pushed like there is no tomorrow, even the smallest chance it works is enough reason.. maybe im not seein the complete picture i dnt know but this has really bothered me!

Thats true but i've lost two family members due to this and when it comes down to it you would nearly try anything when it gets to the stage that everything else fails..

i think its a disgrace that even if theres a small chance this treatment could work it isnt being used because of money money shouldnt even come into this
after losing my mum to cancer 2 years ago and seeing the suffering she went through for 18 months i dont think it even comes down to the saving lives bit because i know everyone has to die sometime but it could save the suffering that all these people has to go through because i wouldnt wish this illness on my worst enemy never mind someone i love

What Im trying to get across is that cancer comes in many different types and effects people so differently I dont think one tablet will cure all more needs to be known and more needs to be researched before its given out to everyone.

its a shame people arent as important as money. i believe that ANY possible cure should be made available to ANYONE in need.

Sis I agree with you in that if all else has failed and the person wants to try a experimental drug then yes give it to them no matter if it costs a £mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

drugs have to be tested properly, just look at what happened to the drug test where that bloke lost his limbs and his head swollen.

but as soon as its safe it should be free, anythin thats had goverment funding should be free for all and not a post code lottery as they call it.

my dad was gunna die anyway...we knew that...but we wud've tried anything to keep him here...i'd rather have a dad with no limbs than be sitting here on my own...ok maybe he wudnt like it...but i'm a selfish cow

i know what you are saying sally. a body that has been fighting cancer for some time would have more difficulty fighting the side affects of a untested drug.

I lost both my parents to cancer, its a horrible disease. If for 1 second that a drug was available at any cost i would have somehow gotten the money. Its sickening to think that company's just want to make £s from other peoples misfortunes. Im sure my mum would have wanted to be a guinea pig for that drug, if it meant another chance to stay with us. I understand about the tests been carried out, but im sure anyone with cancer would only be to glad to test it.

i can't talk about cancer without a tear in my eye, the much loved mrs w1nk is going through it at the moment. All who have been touched by it would try anything. My thoughts are with any sufferers and their families. Bless you all
