I thought Atherton was quality, I think he is in Shane Warne's 100 Greatest Cricketer's he has ever played against lol.

P-Darren Pattinson, made his international debut for England in July, I think it will be his one and only appearance, he is a good domestic player but no where near international standard, worse piece of selecting ever, he had only played 11 county championship games before selection. Quotation from Ian Botham on his selection 'The most illogical, pathetic and diabolical piece of selecting I've seen. The selectors have embarrassed English cricket. I want to hear a proper explanation for this, as do England fans around the country.'
