| gallows pole is really good. and that one about walking down some country lane with his lass when its raining. hmmmmmm. not sure. that might be van morrison actually. but the one im thinkin of is either before or after gallows pole on the album. |

| BUMPITY BUMP BUMP ok,, had to revive this thread because i had an INCREDIBLE listening today of what for me was a 'lost song'... completely forgotten by my failing memory lol. but ohhhhh was i glad it found me again today so i thought i would share it with you , perhaps jog your memory a bit as well .. and as it fits well, i think, in the 'obscure' catagory ( seein as how i even had a hard time remembering the lyrics !   lol )here it is... Nothing obscure but me and the missus only got hitched a few months back, even though we've been together a while, and at the start of our ceremony (family/friends at home/garden) my eldest son play the beginning of stairway on acustic guitar as the missus arrived. Sounds a bit naff but it was actually pretty cool. So for me a great song now also has a great memory attached. (Ahhhhh soppy old git lol) |
