Just worked out the odds of a Royal coming out like that, I think it is one hand in every 15.6 million ( rounded up slightly ).

Fozzy, how did you work it out, I got it to about 1 in 102 million.
It's a long time since I've been to school so I reckon you're probably right, just wondered what you did.
My workings.....
First card 1 in 42
(as there are 5 players leaving 42 in the pack)
next card 1 in 41
then 1 in 40
1 in 39
final card 1 in 38

So odds of Royal Flush in Community Cards
42x41x40x39x38 = 102,080,160 to 1.

Any experts want to pitch in?

My head isstarting too hurt....

...I didn't factor in the odds of the players not receiving any of the cards. Hmmm I dunno how to do that, can anyone help?

doesn't matter how many players there are. First card can be any card 10 or above, so that is a 20 in 52 chance, 2nd card has to be one of the other 4 of that suit so a 4 in 51 chance, 3rd card 3 in 50, 4th 2 in 49 and final card a 1 in 48. I worked it out wrong before, there is actually a greater chance of it occurring.

Just put my previous figures into the calculator, and if I hit the buttons correctly, then the chances of a royal coming out on the flop turn and river are 1 in 649,740. A lot more likely than what I first worked it out to be.

What we need is Bobf111, he would know exactly what the odds are.

If you look in the chat box then you can see two people winning the pot with a royal flush. I guess the screenshot was just a bit too slow.
