AA - got lucky

On the back of deans thread i will tel u about my experience with AA last night in the pub.

Dealt AA and raised 4 x BB - one caller who had been aggressive all night - flop came 562 - i bet again 4 x BB - he goes all in which would certainly damage my chip stack.

I call and he turns over 56 of diamonds (two pair) - turn card nothing and then the wonderful river throws me an Ace.

Final table second hand i get AA again. Again i raise 4 x BB - one caller - flop 10,j,q. I bet and the other player goes all in - i call.

Cards are turned and he was holding pocket jack so he has tripped up. Turn card nothing, and then the wonderful river throws me a King to give me the straight.

Quality - went on to win and took the £100.00 prize

(like 2 3? lol) Hi one time I make a flop with A A in hand and more one in Table see that now in table have so a A 2 3 I make flop one call I call course that one have 2 3 next a 3 and i think nice, risk a str8 but no flush but in next card and last out another 3 oh mine a full house and I knew it but you know I answer the call with A A A and see nice 2 3's full house of 22 3 3 3 i so have a A A A hand much times lose with A A and no call that is luck river much times for a str8 or flush with low cards lol. Nice one Grove, well done mate. I wonder how many times that happens in our favour cos there are plenty of times when it doesn't work out. I wonder if over time its about 50/50? Anyway enough wondering, I bet you had a wonderful time in the pub.

I was knackered mate - too many late nights recently. So i didnt spend any of my winnings and i didnt stay for a second game. It was nice to wake up this morning with a pocket full of notes

WOW,u must have been tired if u didnt get undressed before bed

I reckon the two people you knocked out werent as chuffed as u I think u were pretty lucky u lil river rat u

LMAO - ok mate i got undressed and went to bed. When i picked up my pants in the morning the money was in my pocket

This may sound a bit off beat but i would prefer a jj or even an ace king over a ace ace,, i seem to loose more with them than with other high hands... Hmmmmmmmmmmmm????
