Bad beat by a newbie

Thought I'd share a hand which gave us a bit of a laugh last night. A new player had already had a couple of lucky breaks to take some players out and found himself as chip leader on the final table of an MTT. Unsure how best to deal with his newfound riches he decided on one hand to raise the 200 BB to 1500 UTG. Most people folded but a regular player who also had a decent stack decided to hit him for his chips and pushed all-in to about another 6000. The new player instantly called (leaving himself with about 2500). The regular player turned over his hand to show pocket 10s. The new player was a little slow turning over his cards and the dealer had already dealt the first card of the flop which was another 10. The new player now showed their cards, A4o (surely doomed). The rest of the flop was 9, 2 rainbow.

Turn was a 5 and we all held our breath as river came up.....3!!

Gave us a good laugh for the rest of the night.

Later the same player also took someone out with pocket 8s beating a flopped 2 pair with an 8 on the river despite the fact that in dealing they had accidently revealed the first burn card which was also an 8.

it's players like that who you don't want to play, cos they culd really have ANYTHING, and it just annoys you when they pull out a fluke like that- when u just about KNEW u had 'em beat.

It gets us all occasionally, 'cept when it gets me i like to have a good winge- something i know i shouldn't do, but hey, what ya gonna do.

l i played freeroll guy hoyed his pot in was only 900 got 2 me had 9k most players had lower ecp 1 i had kk so try 2 intimadate pot all floped ecp chip leader he called knew he d win as always deos on here had it till river as he had a 7 got ace on river hate it it happens all the time or if i no call it ll giv winn hand 2 me then then dam crap pair winn s ps seen me hav winn hand other day 1 guy q3 other chip leader qa me ak i had wonn it was taken ages 2 give me chips j 10 5 6 then seen chip leader card change 2 a j as it took so long hav complained abwt glitch in system bt not seen it do that b4 has it happened 2 eney 1 else if i get banned 4 say this sorry but no 1 replays 2 me even if i pm them if i do get banned break may do me gd but the problems still need fixed
