A bad play or what so early in tourney

Played tourney and got raised all-in by a mule play..but it happens don't think this play will win tourneys lol

Hope not many would go all in like he did..your opinions appreciated..Cconsidering so early in the tourney..

If I've followed the hand corectly you had top pair with an Ace kicker and made a just under pot size raise, which was then reraised by a player going all in with bottom pair with ace kicker.

It has to be said that it is a most questionable move, he must have considered himself to be behind given your raise. That early in a tourney I would be definately folding. The flop didn't give him much in the way of outs other than fluking the 7 as he did on the river.

Unfortunately though you do have to remember that there are a number of inexperienced players who are learning the game. They will eventually realise that for all the times that they get lucky they will find that the odds are stacked very much against them if they continue to play so wrecklessly.

Played alongside Tony several times and dont think calling him a "mule" is correct. He is a good player and always acts correctly on the tables.....from what I have seem.
Actually not 100% sure what was meant by mule?

Not calling this player a mule.........I am calling the play (this move a donkey play)(mule) as I belived it to be a bad play. This player got very lucky with this play........I wanted to know how many would play like that...going for two outs...?

Every player makes bad moves ..but so early in the tourney with blinds so small...strange I thought

Hi buddy, it looks like he took you with QQs after the flop because of your raise. But he hit a pair of 77s with an Ace kicker and unbeknown to him "without your Ace" he must of thought he had still got 5 outs, so all I can suggest is that he took a chance and it paid off. At least he wasn't calling with nothing so therefore its hard to call it bad play. Steve.
