flop comes
456 with 2 clubs.

going all in advantages-
the button called for 150 with a relatively short stack, 78 for the nuts is nigh on impossible
suited cards are likely, but even if its clubs im 65% favourate, and i only have 5 big blinds.
he will call with and decent flopped hand that doesnt beat me, as i have shown a tendency to push.

so i take the decision and shove.
he think for a while and calls. he tables 9s9c
at this point im about 90:10 favourate. i think.
and the chance of him hitting the flush is like...16:1.
but hey. he does it! AcQc hit the turn and river and im out AGAIN!

I think you are doing everything right. You are just having some rotten luck. Part of playing poker on this site is learning to cope with players that will never fold. That may mean that they will call and all in with pocket 3's after the flop showed AAK and hit their 3 on the river to beat you. So you can never be sure until after the flop, with players on a free site.

Chasers and just plain silly calling will sometimes allow them to hit something they normally wouldnt.

yeahh it sucks.
im gonna keep playing for play chips on this site, and download poker heaven/full tilt software for real money.
just to see if the quality of play is any different or if i can do any better there

Have you played on the real money side here?

Use the $5 free they give you and have a go at some of the tourneys of something on the Real Money side. You will be amazed by the difference in the standard of play. You will find people are a lot less willing to call with crap cards when they are using their own money.

Thats my 2 cents anyway lol

even though ive had plenty of bad beats because of call stations, this is probably the right call from him. with a pattern of pushing, he knows hes well ahead of my range, and his check on the flop is probably some tricky "trap" play, hoping that i take the cue and push. which is do and he obliges. unfortunately...yeah. you know the rest :P
so i get beaten by calling stations, tricky plays that go wrong, pretty much everything :P

Also you will notice that the higher up you get in the tables, the better the play will become. But, the higher the stakes. With the exception of a few, the standard on the Flawless and Kings of the Hill table is quite high most days of the week Good luck on tables..

the standard of play at the stakes i was playing was very good, $5-$10 sit n gos mostly, but a couple of bad beats on there meant my bankroll took huge blows, and the 0.50-$1 sir n gos may aswell be lotteries. some really crazy play on there hahah.
ive never surmounted a decent amount of play chips, and i may start that now i have no more actual money to play with!

I Would Have Done The Same... I Lost A Hand The Other Day With Pocket Queens, 1 More Came Out On The Flop An 2 Kings.. 1 Was Forced To Go All In And 1 More Queen Came Out!! 4 Of A Kind Queens!!! I Thought This Is A Easy Win, But My Opponet Was Holding Pocket Kings... That Is Bad Luck!!! Lol
