It's not even his hand or his all in call that's the issue. It's actually ok to be a little aggressive, and even if you had As he had to call there with that hand. The biggest thing (and I see it a lot too in cash tourneys) is people raising way too much. Even 4X is a little too high to open a pot in my opinion. He opened for 12X. That's ill advised even with a great hand. He can easily force folds just as often with a 3 to 5 times raise and not be forced to call when someone plays back.

What tourney was it?

Freerolls, naturally, have a lot of loose action in but I hear every now and then you get people making moves like this on the cheaper buy-in tourneys... it does spoil the game, especially when it happens to you, but it's all part of the risk i'm afraid.

Oh I haven't gotten to limits high enough where this doesn't happen even as far as the first break. I can go through my notes and tell you scores of opponents that play just like that.

it was a$3 deepstack tourney,i dont mind the lose was happy i called him,he had been making big raises and stealing the blinds for about 5 hands,just the luck factor here .which makes it hard to make any call.

played $3 super stack freezeout just now. This guy was raising every hand, never folded always raised, knocked out guy before me with 52 os, called all-in re-raise, just hit hand after hand.
