You must be semi-cautious when your 3 of a kind is the lower rank than your pair. And of course there is always the elusive 4 of a kind to pop out against you as well. Perhaps one day you will have the pleasure of being on the winning end of the same situation, and the other guy will be posting the blues. ![]()

Sometimes, you can feel when someone is raising quickly or systematically calling your bets... That's when you have to check and let the other player make the bets first... If he or she is betting high and very aggressively, you must consider folding, even with a full... (unless it is one of the top player, they bull s..t so nicely, but that is different, it is another story) else, accept that you will not make as much money as going all-in, but be glad you preserve yourself with a chance of being in the next round. If the other player has a higher stack than yours, this advice applies more... If the other players has a quite lower stack than you, smash the mosquito with all-in at the flop or at the turn at most. You need to be the first to scare the other... And yes, poker is poker, even when you make all the right moves, sometimes you loose with a full !!! It does not happen very often !!!

Thanks for the advice......i suppose poker is all about ups and downs, wins and losses and it is how you deal with defeat that defines you much more than how you handle the victories

That's true. I have to say that I've been beaten with a full house before. We both had oppersite cards so they came out on top, so I know exactly where your coming from! ![]()

it's the risk you take, you can generally tell when someone has the better full house but if you bet wisely & keep yr cool you can still fold, but as we all know poker players are a currious bunch we cant stand not knowing for certain wot the other person has so you'll call an ace high stright when some1 has a flush & you call a 3's full over 5's wen you know the other guy was betting on the 5. Or even a sneeky poket pair, pair that you hadnt even considered. You're courious, it human nature. The only way to win is a little luck a lot of skill & a devil may care attitude.
