J3 is always a good fold. On a full table.

You can't play J3 on a 10 players table, good fold for sure

when did you fold and how much was in the pot? in a big pot when i'm we'll stacked i'll play it 1 in 3 depending on how i would of done if i had played them in the hands befor. it all comes down to % and pot odds, it's a good idea to 3x raise and take ppl out with no A K Q or J, then it gives you a better idea what ppl might of hit but if you stuck to your game plan and in the long run it pays off than you did the rite thing, if you ended up with no chips then you need to work out your own way of playing these hands.

even thou in last position by the look of it..its a hand i'd fold 95% of the time..

a very nice pot there so i presume there was a lot of callers before you so
looks like you would have good pot odds to see the flop, but in truth a poor hand...but yes scream when it hits

so i think fold was correct play

kev

Looks like something I do all the time, usually with an 8 3 or 6 4 then the air turns blue.

The odds of you hitting that hand are as good as you hitting that hand with any other non pocket pairs. So good fold.

Otherwise, if you were playing that hand and only one player called the blinds to you in a ten man table then you should have flat called and hoped the blinds were going to check.

Third option would have been a straight bluff. Re-raise the lucky aces chap to 2x and see what happens. If he had a strong pocket pair he probably would have raised you, and you would have folded. If he had a drawing hand(ace king, or worse non paired) then he would have flat called your reraise if he was a good player. Then you would have hoped the two players after you didn't have good cards (suited connectors, and 99 or better).

These are your only hopes to have even seen the flop. The value of your hand is horrible with J 3 you only have a limited number of outs before the flop, and preflop with a rainbow board your hand would rank nothing at all to two pairs. Odds of you hitting 2 pair is really low, so nothing other than going for the bluff would have been profitable to you in your position.
