It can be so discouraging indeed,I have been there on a number of occasions Tatt.There are a couple of things that have helped me though,
1-any time you have 20k in your bank go play a mini mammoth,usually fewer players and a real chance at a decent payout,all you have to do too get the ball rolling is come in 3rd,and dont stop there, keep playin them.
2-when or if you do venture to the rings,Get out as soon as that first Bad beat hits you,and we all no that it will.Chip loss is huge at the rings,and is easy to get caught up in the all inners,especially if you have what you think is a killer hand
3- Wait them out! you see your opposition raking in pot after pot,they are just hot seating!usually their confidence will build and offer you an opportunity to strike!
just a few things I have learned that have helped me alot on this site,I dont have 20,30 or 100 million chips but I have plenty to play any game I want to Including the mammoth,

same happened to me a week ago...was very drunk and lost the lot playing the big boys tables ! so its bingo for a bit

all good advice m8. unfortunately the mini is what brought me to this point. played last nights mini with 20K of my last 59K.
played solid tight poker. only prime pairs. played 5 hands total. first hand chopped because of the river. the other 4 hands were set Q's, set K's, KKQQ, and a flopped str8.all doused on the river. tired of having monster hands beaten, or a rediculous 1out chase.

Well Tatt it sounds like a bad day to me pal I dont think there is any reason to stop Playing really,However thats your business not mine,so I wont push.Its just that i enjoy a game with you when we get an opportunity to play and I would miss that,You and I started playin here about the same time,and I have always enjoyed all the games,just sayin, good luck sir!

i ve just put this on another post. budd ur a great player..hope this helps ya.. we need great players lik urself..i hav bad runs .. and gd runs .. n greeedy runs lol..most ov all moany runs lol..b no funn if we wonn all the time...defo not if we lost all the time...eatch player has diffrent type ov play and must ajust acordinly.. i try n learn from every player 2 better maself..hope it works.. 4 u..ive played u many times all ways enjoyed playin u...as if i could speak 4 all they would say ur great player..get bk in and kick sum butt
