Have you ever had one of those days

Todays Hetmans must rank as the worst game of Poker i have ever played. Not bad beats or all inners or anything like that - it was just one of those days.

First hand AA - lovely start, only gained a couple of hundred chips but hey ho it will do.

After that i dont think i took a single hand, even though i was dealt some nice hole cards. I think i played badly limping with
A10, KQ suited, 10J suited that sort of thing and then seeing a procession of low flops and then big raises from BB who could have been holding anything. Gradually my chips ebbed away.

Got moved tables and was dealt pocket nines first hand and went all in and prayed. One caller (Roly i think) who was in a worse position than me and he turned a straight flush.

Im now down to a few hundred chips most of which i waste when a flop left me open ended. I now have 180 chips and the blinds ar 100/200 i think.

I have 4 hands before the blinds hit me ....i wait 52 fold .....i wait 52 fold..... i wait 53 fold ..... I am now all in as BB - i recieve my cards 52 again NO WAY. Nolakay wishes me luck and i announce that i have had it

Flop comes A36 - i need a 4 for a straight and to pick up 1000 chips. Turn card 9 - river 4 yeeeesssss, but wait, nooooo the chips are sliding elsewhere - i needed a 4 but not the four of bloody spades to get me beat by a flush.

Oh well back to the drawing board i suppose

The feeling aches and trust me my boys have learnt an array of words I prefer NOT to repeat ever again lol
I feel for ya Groves, but hey atleast you can say you've had a Royal. With all my shocking hands I still can't say that
Keep ya chin up, I think we need to come to terms that 2 pair is longer a good hand, it can be chucked on top of the rubbish cause flushes and straights are makin a come back. I hardly ever play pockets anymore....it'll never win you a pot. People will chase and chase, I flopped a flush once and didn't bet lightly, I was called, didn't get another diamond until river but the players will chase and call any amount. I had K high, was beaten by A because they chased....It's a great game isn't it.

yes i understand i'm on a 400K losing streak today... AA pocket total= 11.....wins total= 0....... been rivered so many times i got water coming out my butt...ohhh the humanity of it all... tsk tsk.

down quite a bit myself 2day ...... i don't think its gonna stop ........ perhaps throwing in the towel 4 the day might be my best bet.

Problem is.....i usually end up betting bigger and dumber out of frustration.
