Default a real bad beat

played in my local pub league last night i was chip leader, had ace queen against an aggresive player flop come 5 6 q i bet 500 he called 5 came out on the turn i bet 500 he re raise all in, he always bluffs so called he had pocket aces!!!

so im left with 1800 chips next hand i get pocket jacks go all in and get called what did they have pocket aces!!!!!

so in 2 hands i went from chip leader to out of the competition!

man i hate poker some times lol

That was a sore one. Nothing worse than thinking you have the upper hand only to be sunk like that

Wow, I am sure that you will win more often with those types of hands. But I always seem to get in trouble with poket jacks also.

Usually it is better to wait after a big loss, and come back with really strong hands, like A,A or K,K. Or until another person gets eliminated.

It's not a bad beat. A bad beat is when the favorite hand loses. Pocket Aces versus AQ and AQ losing is no bad beat. Aces was favorite hand and they won. Aces was favorite hand and they also beat Jacks. Neither times was a Bad Beat, much less a Real Bad Beat.
I admit you were unlucky to have to be up against Aces, but call it something other than a bad beat.
