Talking Redemption!

I was having a bit of a rough night, though not real costly, on the rings... some incredible bad beats where people were really sucking out on the river... so this hand comes around... and the guy to my left (simonetti, ITALY) was really playing loose... and had gotten smashed hard in a previous hand, so I clearly had him on TILT. I get dealt the KK in UTG position... and my Italian friend, of course was BB... the table was loose, and I was hoping for a few calls and then REALLY hoping that my Italian friend would raise... perfect... right to plan! And of course, I was dead-set on pushing all-in... was a bit surprised at the number of callers, and not REAL pleased... but then again... well, look at the result! Yep, more than made up for my day and I leave on a winning note!

Of course, I'm always willing to listen to comments here from our resident analysts... never afraid to learn...

Cheers!

Sorry for the multiple posts! I kept getting an error of "too many images"... all I posted was ONE hand history... surely THAT should be allowed!

i responed to a differnt thread today about rings,,,,
i'll say same thing
"i hate rings !! hate em' hatem' hate em' !!! why do i do em'?
i have a theroy and i owe money to my spelling teacher,,i got short changed there,,anyway.
i hate rings, and yes i go there to lose my hard earn tourny play cash.
belive it or not,,,, i'll keep it short...(yes i know)
one drunk night at the rings can kill 6 monthes of great poker play.... add it up.
i officially resign from any and all on-line ring games....
whew. O.K.
and i'm glad you won in the end ...

i can be the mack pimp daddy if i don't do ring games....

You are absolutely, right, Teebs... it was a pure shootout with 5 hands to see the cards... and looking at the crap they were holding, most were a single card away from winning. But hey ho! I'm stoked with the hand!

And PokerPus... I had been on hiatus from the rings for awhile, mostly playing the double-ups... I find it much more lucrative on the rings... hands down!

Wow. What a fishin spot! What kinda line you use out there? So I had to crunch the numbers just to see. You were a 45.2% favorite to win the hand when you put your money in (only 38% on flop but back above 60% on turn). But a coinflip for more than a triple up? I'll take that Well done. Proof that playing with bingo players really is like fishing, ya gotta be patient. Well done and very nice hand.

So Duke, 45.2% favorite when I put my money in? Surely the "favorite" at that point, I assume, no? In other words, there wasn't a "hand" out there that was rated higher? Of course, you don't know the other hands, so I guess the "field" is 54.8%... Interesting...

And Jack, you just got to love when a plan comes together... and WORKS!!! As I mentioned earlier, while I wanted the calls on the first raise, and I wanted the re-raise from BB, I did not expect all of the callers on my all-in... admittedly, before the cards flopped at lightning speed, left me feeling a bit sunk (figuring, someone had an Ace, and I knew an Ace would do me in).

Brings me to a point that I've often thought about sharing on the 'Suggestions' thread... I really wish the script would allow for some amount of suspense... once all the money is in, "preflop", or at any point, can't the script "slow down"? Wouldn't it be nice if it "plays the flop"... PAUSES... "plays the turn"... PAUSES... "plays the river"... this way you can see things a bit more realistically and figure out, along the way, how things are going, whether you have a chance, what cards do you need or need to avoid, etc. RATHER THAN JUST SHOWING A RESULT, at LIGHTNING SPEED.

OK..... got that off my chest!

Nice one, you have to wonder why some players are playing cash side when you see the hands they will get all in with preflop .

They must see this as gambling rather than a game

yeah 45.2 is by far the favorite. the other 55 is split 4 ways. I agree with how fast it goes. you don't even realize who wins for second until the chips start moving, but that's the script not the skin. So it's just like the other things discussed, it's an issue with Everleaf not OP66.

Yes, I am well aware it's a script, issue... we (OP66 skin) CAN send on suggestions... some are forwarded... some acted upon... in fairness, I didn't even push this to the 'Suggestion' thread (maybe I'm still smarting over how I got handled the last time I tried! )

yeah I've gotten some good advice or tips from Aus when I've tried, but haven't seen anything actually changed in awhile (of course haven't seen a straight up suggestion in awhile either)
