Default Straight Flush in BC but no cigar...

Flopped a queen high straight flush in diamonds yesterday in the British crown..
I was dealt ten D Jack D and the flop was 789 D.
As you can see..there was no possible hand that could beat it.
Sadly,I was in the hand with some very good tight players and even though I checked after the flop,
as soon as I tried to bet everyone folded. (like a deck of cards lol)
Sometimes a hand can be just TOO good to profit from.
CURSES lol..
The final table was a joy and congratulations to Sternswiss for a great comeback and victory.
Stern..in my humble opinion you are the best tourney player here by a country mile.
Also well done to Jackspades and Mikejr on silver and bronze.
Great game!

Yeah, m8 the dream flop... but often it's hard to draw profit from them... unless there is a superagressive player trying to steal the pot (the dream!) and don't feel "the snake behind the rocks" as Earp put it last night.

VVNH, anyways.

Also, thanks a lot for your compliment that made me blush. I know I can be good, but also very often I make st00pid moves too, especially when drunk and multitaksing or bored by recurring bingo play and getting careless (which I wouldn't be if real money was involved, but for fun I don't have the patience lol).

So I think there are a few players here which are at least as good, if not better, but also much more focussed, solid and patient overall.

But thanks again. It is always a real pleasure to meet you on the tables m8: great sport, great fun.
