All,

I feel I need to clarify my earlier rant on Jimmys thread as it was unfair on the player I was referring to. I suggested that he called me a donk and that wasn't the case, I just felt he was suggesting that by the way he questioned my play. I also said he called me to "f**k" again unfair, I was reacting to his all-in tilt play after the beat and i took it personally that he was having a go at me, although he has indicated that he may have called me a few names off air lol. I have explained to him the reasons for my rant and the frustrations that caused it.

I hope that clears up the situation and that also the other apolgies I've sent out over the last few days are also accepted. Please accept that sometimes we all have bad days.

GW

Cuddy's Point, while not directly a bad beat story, does bring to light something that I said, that has created a number of questions.

In another thread I mentioned the risk of giving your password information to others. I understand that sometimes you may do this for family, but if you have the least concern, you should change your password.

For example Player Bob is good friends with Player Mary. Bob gives Mary his login information so she can tweak his home page. She does the job and it is wonderful. Later Bob starts a friendship with Janice, whom Mary does not like. Mary logs in as Bob and posts some hateful stuff in the forum. Well Bob gets banned for the posts. Bob emails in that it was not him. In general, that is sad to hear, but it was his account, and he gave away his password, so it is his ban. Should have been more careful.

This is an exaggerated story just to make a point. Would you give your buddy your ATM card and the PIN to hold for you since you did not bring a wallet? No.

A real example from the past is a player who saved his login information on his home computer and a child got on his computer while he was sleeping. Was rooting around on the internet, found the favorite, logged in and played away all his daddy's chips. Dad comes in the next day raising cain about how his chips have gone missing. Well we have the supporting data that shows his account gambled them away. So no refund. After a little research on the home front, Daddy discovers the truth.

Your login and password are who you are on the site. So be responsible.

I hope that clarifies a little the point I was trying to make.

As far as I know you can have more than one account in a house as long as you let the mods know whos playing which account my chap has an account though he doesnt play and its on the same ip as do a lot of other couples I think the only stipulation is you cant play the same tables apart from tournies where its random where youre seated.
