I played in a pub tournie the other night for a £10.00 entry
30 players and i did well enough to get to final table of eight was joint chip leader with two others and a few low stackers.
I was going to sit tight for a bit and let the low stackers burn themselves out.

First hand im BB and get dealt J7. Four callers and no raise

Flop JJ7 (i am now shaking like a sh*tting dog)

SB checks - i make a small bet to match the blinds and try and get some players.

Everyone folds up to the original checker the SB - who then goes all in - i cant believe my luck as he was joint chip leader with me - i call and he has A10 and was on a flush draw - PMSL inside obviously.

I go on to win the tournie and take away £180.00

Carlsberg dont make card games ...... but if they did

I used to play in a tavern every Sunday and Wednesday night. Always made enough to pay for poker and beer. Then I joined OP66 and didn't get to the tavern for a few months. In January I went down one night and won the tourney. Got $145 so I sent it in to OP66 to have a little play money.
