Well, it was his BB and hit 2 pair on the flop. I personally would have shoved with 9/10 pre-flop. he may have folded. But no bad play here. unlucky mate.

A lot depends how you both have played during the game.
Him calling after flop could be a warning that he has hit something, ditto after the turn.
I don't play a lot of heads up but some say only raise or fold at that stage.

you played it correct all the way,much depends on what read you made on him on the flop,lets say you tested the flop with your first bet,i assumed you thought your 910 was good hence you made a large bet on the turn.hitting the 4 on river was pure luck,just unlucky mate..

Personally i wouldnt have played 9 10off i wouldve folded those cards. still you played them and he called. after he called i wouldve checked the board down coz you have know way of knowing what he might have coz you let him have a free look at the flop. and seeing as he called your bet after the flop he obviously hit. so to continue betting was wrong in my opinion.

I guess 9 10off is a playable hand but not one i wouldve played in that position, but thats me. and i have to agree with sandy and say you couldve played it better, but im sure you know that jack. your a good player a far better player than me but you did ask for our opinions.

Heads up m8 not much u can do their. And yes 10-9 with the button headsup u gotta play it. Im with jimmy u didnt play it bad but with position a preflop raise shouldve done the trick.
