Your bogey tourney

I have said time and time [and time] before that the OZ WOMBATS tourney hates me i do fairly well on the others I enter, and I understand that the tourney formats are the same in terms of blind structure etc...

I don't even think my play is any different

So how come is it that the best i've ever managed here is 10th? maybe this hand shall explain:

I wasn't knocked out, StarryStar was kind enough to keep me firmly alive with 1000 chips (thanks again!) although only prolonged the inevitable...

but that hand SHOULD HAVE been my dismissal... most players here would have KO'd me there.... if any of my bets was raised, I was shoving... simple...

It is this luck that I keep getting and cannot avoid in the wombats... as ever, pretty much every wombats tourney I enter I get hands like this Glad the times I enter are only few and far between...

Does anyone else have a bogey tourney? Or are their heads like stevo's and think they are awesome in all of them

Well i guess you could say I made a HUGE improvement on my wombats woes by claiming SILVER in todays, at the hands of jazzsinger earlier...

But jayzus christ i had him all-in twice... once with the clear best hand... one in with a good shout

The tourney lasted a good 2.5 hours... with the heads up lasting over 30 minutes!

Can't say i'm too happy with silver tbh in a tourney I aint won yet

I cant take anything away from jazzsinger and his sound performance throughout to get to heads up... wd on the gold, and also auggie for bronze and nolakay for 4th, congrats.

It seems i've never won Mammoth,m8.I rememeber last silver i got there,was already playing BC also at that point because H/U wouldnt end lol.Forget who i was playing but after so many runner runner suck outs and the like i was saying ok,this aint happening...nowadays dont play it because i dont have the money lol...and not worried about trying to get it either.But cheers on the silver m8 still very nice.

Hey Ducks you'll get there in the end, I've managed a gold in all but the Mammoth, I've never had enough chips to have a go in it, not without leaving myself very short and my hatred of the ring tables makes me wary of getting too low on chips, a double edged sword buddy.
