Default #2 Heads up - Rules & Draw

Here we go folks.

Slight change this one as it's winner takes all but this time there is a minimum buy-in each round. Unfortunately there is only a limited number of tables so you might have to wait a little if they are being used but at least it will get you in the right place at the right time. If you use the chat box on the login page to meet up it should be a lot easier this time.

Round 1 25k
Round 2 50k
Round 3 100k
Semi 250k
Final 500k

You can choose to play best of three if you both agree but the first game must be at the buyin value after that just choose any table.

If you are havign problems trying to contact someone pm myself, Jazz & Forestking so we know exactly what's going on.

This time lets try to keep it flowing as I really don't want to have to draw lots for who goes through.

Games can start as soon as Forestking posts the draw.

Don't forget to post who wins each game

Have fun

sorry to say, but am not sure i like that buy-in structure

say for example, u win up to the final by 1 single game every round, there for that structure ur looking at 425k profit yeah?

And then u could lose 500k just like that, meaning u lose money overall after going to the final?

I think a different structure should be made, i suggest smaller as this was only created for fun in th first place, right?

somat like;

first round 10k
second round 20k
quarters 40k
semi's 80k
final 160k

Do a doubling process anyways. It would work out fairer, i feel.

post for comments, is this a good idea?

We are playing Texas Holdem, but it is a tournament of many 1-on-1 (headsup) matches. It takes place over 1-2 weeks. Starting with 32 players, each round eliminates 1/2 the players until there is one overall champion.

Yes it would be fairer but there ain't any tables at 40k, 80k, & 160k or doubling up at any value unless you want to play Omaha. This is the nearest there is to doubling up which I why I used them.

i think that would be too cheap .. well for the finals anyway
i think the finals and semi finals should stay expensive so the winner really wins if you know what i mean
