About new chat : read here!

Hi all,

as said in the other chat thread : New chat is now live, click on top left of any forum's page to launch the chat popup!
You need to be logged in forum (don't try to use the chat login page if you aren't logged through poker or forum!)

The chat is easy to handle, take time to try all fun features

Read below for the non-intuitive points:
"Personnal messages" = Targeted messages to a specific member, everyone can read those!
"Whisper" = Targeted messages, only admins (super moderators are admin there) can read those
"Private messages" = will open a new discussion room to talk to only one member, no one can read those directly (super moderators can but only in chat logs)

Reminder : Private messages (PM) from forum are totally private, no one can read those including super moderators or even admins like me. Vbulletin's forum script is using MD5 encryption which is a very strong system. In case of legal action we could decode those but that's the only case.

EDIT : -Profile and chat avatars as the mp3 player aren't working yet, I will work on that soon but we are really busy due to new poker script setup, allow a delay there.
- Auto-away is setup on 3 minutes, Auto-loggout setup on 30 min (I hope you're ok with that, could be modified otherwise).

Lava, I tried it and for some reason mine is stuck on 30 percent for loading it just completly stuck. Anything I can try to make it open for me?

Ohhhhh Lava just tried the new chat!!!! WELL DONE!!! And if the new site is anywhere as good...we've got it made.

It's using flash, try updating your flash version and using firefox if using internet explorer (or vice-versa, just to check if it's your browser or not).

we just opened our own little chat room with passwords and it's brill. thanks for your hard work. It feels like christmas and birthday rolled into one xx
Still haven't worked out the whisper so that it's secret though..x

Queen_B & cotton : You need to be logged in the forum in order to use chat so be sure you are logged in, if it is the case try 4 things (after logged out and temp files + cookie cleanup) :
1) try to log through poker and come here (if you are used to log into forum through forum registration)
2) try to update your flash player
3) try to use firefox if using internet explorer (and vice versa)
4) try to check your cookies configuration in your browsers setting and lighter security

If you try all of that and copy the results it will help here to fix your issue (or even directly solve it if you don't mind using the new setup )

i cant get on chat either,it loads application 100% and loads resources 100% then say initialization and thats it, has stayed like that for 30 mins now

ok deleted files n cookies now i cant even get tables open because my internet is running with no add ons and i cant get it to run with add ons grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Please do exactly what's written here and copy the results (step by step), Browser's plugins should have nothing to see with your cookies.
I understand it's annoying for you but we can't help without such tests.

i'm on works pc kev,(there could be a firewall in place,but nothing telling me so like the tables do) i'll wait till i get home and try on mine first thanks

Ok i dont know what ive done sorry Lave but it is all working now ...... i just reset the whole laptop i think lol . x
