Default An All-In Table for fun?

Hey all, just putting this idea past people; Myself and UkDude were talking about the possibility of having an Allin table? Perhaps even as a one off thing for charity where everyone can pay a small entry fee and the winner of the tourney choses what charity or something. Just looking to see what people think, it would be fun if anything

Ideas been brought up a bunch of times before, but not with the charity part.

Its a half and half dea too, half people who respond want it, half don't. As always though, one moderator don't like it, it become a stupid idea.

G'luck eh

People have been talking about these all in tables for quite a while now. I don't think it's going to happen. Would be nice to try it though but it's not really poker.

Maybe we could start by doing 1, and if its liked we could do more.

It would only be a game of luck tho, but if you are like going on a trip for a month and you know that 5% will kill you maybe you should be able to gamle with it (of course you can gamble with it at super high rollers but there it's so much skill involved and maybe sombody just wanna put it all on a coin toss.

surely it would get annoying after a while and just take up space? i was reading that a 5 person table takes up as much resources on the sever as a 10 person so this table could be replaced with sat a 20k turbo tourney wouldn't that be more appreciated?

wow man, first of all, lets try to keep the language decent. secondly, try using punctuation so we can understand your little sob story. and finally, if you got 7th because of the "dumb***", then maybe you should think for a minute, who is the real "dumb***"? i mean, the person that went all in did better than you, so...not to mention, when somebody goes all in, you have the option of folding - so don't blame them for your poor poker skills. If you keep folding when they keep going all in - others will eventually call him and somebody will lose, thus giving you a better chance of winning. i cant believe i actually have to explain this to somebody, lol...so, stop whining, and start winning!

lol,i did keep it decent it wasnt the worst i could of used. And i ment i got 7K it was a typo and its not fair for everyone else that he does it and he keeps going in at the start never when he has good hands. And secondly i dont have poor poker skills came 2nd in Omaha tourney and i have been playing poker mainly since i was 11.
But i do respect your post but still your the one that was whining i was just asking a question.

And the person i was playing in the omaha tourney said "Its the apart of the game"and i understand that.I made this thread when i was annoyed

if you worry about all in players find a site that has
pot limit raises, then the raiser is limited to the ammount of the raise

but people still sitting on tables going all in every hand its ruining the game for everyone people refresh there 1k chips n bang it all in all the time sometimes you cant even play a hand because of this may i suggest a lower buyin table 1k buy enter between 1k and 30k ?

i just try to fold even if my hand is strong......until all the all in's are eliminated. Very frustrating though.

The 'all-inners' are not a problem for me in any way, shape or form.

If I have a strong hand I call and more often than not win. Occaisionally I lose, even if they have gone all-in with a very weak hand, but hey thats just the way it goes.

As long as you have a rudimentary understanding of the strength of your hand, over the long term its inevitable you will benefit from their poor play.

Take the chips and enjoy the game, and after all, its not real money, so no big deal if you do lose, theres always next time

If it was 1k, you would need more than one table for the all inners.

It is a good idea though Adim, and might make mini tourneys more professional
