Annoying All-in Chat block

Hey all,

I love the new script. And I am happy to play with the download version which is stable and smooth.

BUT I hate the all-in chat block!


First, it doesn't emulate real conditions. Good part of deciding whether to call (or raise) is tells and even online you do get some.

Then it is less social and less fun.

Finally there is an inbalance, for the flashers (using flash version, in case) CAN chat when all-ins.


I must add that I daily encounter different players who have the same feeling and it is after today's afternoon torunament, where I had 5 players on tables saying how much they hate it, that I decided to post (maybe it has been dicussed in the past BUT even then, it is today that 5 + me players where furstrated).


Also: I have noticed very often that players leave table when it is their turn to post small blind. I find it odd. Espcecially as the blinds raise.



Anyone else agreeing here and not only on tables?

i agree, i hate the chat-block too, and its not fair that some can still chat and others cant....... i was told it was part of site/and to stop 'telling' on all in hands!.....if the latter is the case then it needs sorting so its one rule for all!

Yep agree. I don't think chat should be blocked for all-in. Very frustrating.

chat block on all ins was part of the network set up before we joined, as yes lava has asked about it being removed for the free tables.

but remember where still the "newbies" of the network, and hopefully over time when we get more influence are requests will get looked at better

Yep, it's especially annoying when halfway through writing something someone goes all in....or it stops you writing TY.....and then other people can write stuff.
Very frustrating.

Yes as TBH said it's a network wide policy and can't be modified for specific tables for us for now.
I don't think that will come anytime soon as we are yet waiting for many developments which got priority on that.

lmao finally us flashers have something over the download version

if ya wana go on unbalance it would work in your favour.

back to topic though, i do feel you have a valid point in that its needed..i would hate to be typing and it gets cleared from an all in

That too! Happens so often and is bloody annoying. You loose the discussions thread, etc.


But what Lava and T_B_H wrote is what along the lines of what I was expecting.

I fully understand that it is not a top priority, but hope you will keep it on the agenda neverthelsess: it really annoys lots of people here.

And there is the non-equanimity in tratement...

someone made a comment to me before in the ultra that needed a repsonse...as the blinds were so high, every hand put someone all-in straight away and therefore blocked the chat...i sat for 10 minutes trying to type an eight word answer then gave up...i left without replying this is ruining the friendliness of the site...it sux

Ya it does suck, I have tons of friends on this site and I hate not being able to tell them good luck or talk to them when there all in do to that stupid all in block. Grrr fix it when ya can lava and when they let ya.

Ilovekerry beat me to it ..... yep you can on flash .... is funny we don't have so many things that the download version does ..... but we can talk on all ins

only blocks down load version, flash version can still talk
takes away from the game, wipes out anything being typed
3 times in a row i was typing , each time got wiped out b4 i could hit enter. frustrating and senseless to have it
but happy to have chat though, so not all bad

So we have more members and have more and more players playing the money side and we are still not given the same treatment as the other players mmmmmmm something wrong there guys!!

yes must admit im not a fan either, tried to answer someone 4 times last night, kept getting wiped out, then all players were re seated to another table, obviously i gave up......noticed the flash version members can still chat away, maybe ill become a flasher, then again wouldnt be a pretty sight lol.

sometimes i give up responding due to the chat box block,i,m always half way through a longish sentence when i lose it due to someone going all in and we all know that can be a regular occurrence on here,so it,s short and sweet from me most times,i,m sure in the future it maybe deleted but i do,nt think it will be anytime soon,anyway we have a good site here now and i,m sure it can only improve,only hope my game improves also,be lucky lads and lasses your m8 the yeo

I for one can't stand the chat-block! I know there are more important issues, but would like to see this dealt with.

lol patience ... other than the hairy legs, bein a flasher is both pretty and fun giggle. Come join us anytime ... we have many more disadvantages than advantages, but we can chat anytime, anyplace, anywhere, and I think that suits me just fine (hmmm I think someone called me chatty once which was truly a surprise!)
