We all have our griefs every now and they sometimes are ground for a new thread.

Today, I feel like making an anti-rant


I had tremendous pleasure playing the mammoth this evening. It took an hour and 15 minutes to go from the 17 contestants to the final table and then a good hour more to resolve.

Despite a couple of unavoidable unfair losses, good poker all the way through... solid and tight-aggressive.

The endgame was long, disputed and very balanced: a real challenge.

Congrats to chuck and rich for silver and bronze. Sorry for the double slam, it is only a matter of little time before you'll both get it.

Add to that pleasant chat, friendly observers and overall good-sporting and you have an exact reason why I keep loving this place despite all the rollercoasters.

It is first and foremost the pleasure I took in the game that I wanted to share, hence I posted here rather than in the bad beat section

Aside from not getting the win and having to settle for the no2 spot today,that was one of the best damn games I have ever been involved in here,congrats to you Sternswiss on a brilliant game,Rich played a hell of a game as well.It was just good clean no hold barred poker! Thanks for the great time everyone!

indeed a most enjoyable game and well played by all involved, congrats on the silver chuck and swiss many congrats on your gold, such was my enjoyment i didn't even mind my flush getting beat by your full house on the river(well not as much as i normally would lol), great game all thank you.
