its sad to see that language such as this is used on here, and even worse to know that threads which contain language like this are only closed and not deleted. I have browsed this forum and seen some terrible language used, members abusing others members, cursing over bad hands and flops. i think its dreadful, considering children visit this site. i have seen members using foul language to others and yet they continue to be members.
the moderation of this place leaves a lot to be desired. if a player is abused or foul language is used then the thread should be deleted, not left for all to see and those members should be barred from coming back.

Strange, I read all the threads on here, but haven't seen the problem described.

I can not agree with that statement. Are you suggesting that a thread which may have been running for several days,weeks , months containing interesting information and good natured debate be removed just becuse some moron decides to be abusive or use foul language.

I would advocate that the post be removed rather than remove the whole thread.

Having been a mod on this site for a couple of years, i've seen all kinds of stuff on this forum and 99% of the bad stuff gets deleted staight away or the post is edited so it is no longer offensive and the offender is dealt with.

If you can supply me a list of threads that you deem offensive i will gladly sort through them but having read pretty much all threads in the last few months, i fail to see the issues you have bought up here.
