Bad language on tables? read here!

Hi all,

as said a lot of time on forum yet, the new script system need improvment and that's about muting/banning players too.
The 24/7 live chat got a way to work and we had one too, we will work to have things matching our needs.

Actually if you are insulted on a table :
1) copy the hand number on top left of the table OR at least copy the hour and table name
2) contact 24/7 live chat and give your nickname, the nickname of the bad guy and a short description of the story (copy the text for example)
3) don't except an instant effect, issues are recorded and action is taken if the guy make another insult usually BUT you can mute instantly anyone for yourself by using "block chat" (click on the player name when he is seated at your table). As notes, blocked chats are recorded in your profile, it's a permanent thing.

I'm coding a page to allow our moderation team to remove all chips in bankrolls, would act as an efficient way to have a direct effect. Unfortunately that will affect only our players (actually we are yet more than 50% on free tables). Dealing something better soon.

Please allow us a delay to make things smoother.

yes, they are players from other small sites like ours, it's a "poker network" which mean a script shared between more than one site (really common in the poker world, 80% of the big sites are networks themselves).
We are much more than other sites on free side but you could still meet many foreign players yes.

oh i'm really annoyed...grrrrrrrrr..

just playing a big touney and 3/4 players language was awful...

just wished i was able to mute or boot them from table

i have reported to 24/7 support who are following it up..

but this is not a good advert for OP66..and we are going to need to be able to sort this if we stay on this server..

the only way we have to combat fowl mouth players here now, is to block there chat on that table.
Just like BlackLava said he has no control over those players from other small poker sites !!!!

Good the language on this new site is terrible , some of the people can be very rude

When the new mod powers are introduced I do not think it will make much of a difference as OP66 players are in the main very polite and abide by the rules.

Couldnt it be arranged that if a OP66 mod complains about a player outside there direct control that action would be immediately (as practical) taken by the 24/7team. It does not seem fair that there would be one set of rules for one player and another for another.

I feel that if there is discrimination either way on penalties or warning systems that the gulf between the sets of players will never be lessened.

the language has been particularly bad over the weekend. I have muted players but I think I am going to start sending in the table numbers

hopefully in a day or 2 the mods will be able to act again,until then yes 24/7 is your only other method apart from muting

If you are on a table and someone is using bad language, click on there user name on the table and you get the option to block that persons chat.

There is also options for the chat box itself, where you can turn all chat and dealer chat off.

I am muting players but they are so rude. My family plays on this site and while they are old enough to play they should not be exposed to the language.

Thats all very well, but how do you mute the Observers that chat. They are usually the worst offenders.

As i said in the second line of my post, you can turn all chat off and have nothing in chat box, pretty sure that covers observer chat aswell.
