[QUOTE=ed34;256228]Colling wood.. I care, they can use the bad language all they want wwhen there are only men at the tables, I even use the language occasionally but never when there is a woman at the table, It is called RESPECT, many of those users even use it at there own diner table,
I was an observer watching the game when this fellow named manool started swaring at one of the players from the observer room. kids all young teens there has to be an age limit at this site.that would elimnate 80% of the problem

Thanks Blacklava. Anything that could be done to eliminate or minimize rude players would be greatly appreciated. I've found most are teenagers from other sites. Members, remember, responding to these rude players only fuels their abusiveness. Don't lower yourself to their level of ignorance. Block their chat or change tables, but PLEASE, report them to 24/7.

I remember when I first signed up. I wanted to chat at the tables so I ventured into the forum.....I am yet to leave LOL but I recall seeing the thread that had all the players names that were banned, as well as how long they were banned for and the reasons for it. I remember thinking, Geez I hope my name never appears there....HOW EMBARRASSING. I know it's virtually impossible to have that back again but I reakon it definitely worked. Anyways as for bad language now a days. Muting chat really works, if you see that your friends have joined a table, unmute it. After all there is power in numbers. In saying that visit the forum chat room, there's always atleast 1 poker table full of people (including mods) that will come and give the bad language user a what for.

We still have that thread but it was moved to the super moderator section of the forum and not a public thread any longer.

Click on the player and check mute, you can't mute observers though.

Yeah J you have to take it to 24/7 help because the mods can't do much about it at the moment, unless the player in question has a forum account

atleast thats how i understand it, sorry if im wrong

I understand that we are part of a network of poker sites and that therefore the mods cannot remove particular players from the network as they may not be OP66 members.

However could it not be possible to ban offensive players from this site alone rather than from the network?

If this could be done it could be a quick solution rather than permanently barring a player.

Just a thought.
