i think that it would be feasable to have a once a month winners tourny. it would only occur ONCE every 35 days. (every 5th sunday)entry fee would be you have to win first place in any big tourny. if there are 5 big tournys every day that would bring 165 members here to play in a tourny less the seats givin up when someone wins more than 1 tourny or doesnt or cant show. it would only be one day every 35 days and it would without a doubt be something that all current and future members will make it their goal to play in this tournament if not win it all. A monthly winners tourny could easily be achieved and all that op66 would have to do is to accomplish this is to have a mod at every table and keep a monthly list of all members who came in first place in a big tourny. and just make it the same time as the regular tourny that is usually played. the sunday mid day tourny would be the same tourny that will allready be played. this also would make every single big tourny at this site more intense when and i can vouch for everyone here whether i know them or not, if there was a winners tourny most members would play in more tournys then they usually play. it really wouldnt be much more work then you guys usually do just more people playing poker at op66. It says somewhere on this site that suggestions are welcome so i thought that i would suggest something. i am not going to put a poll here because it dont take a dummy to know that this is a good idea. it will be gresat for the members and great for the site. it will give us all(the members) something else to play for. anyway i just thought that since i been playing here and i like playing here i would put my 2 cents in.

Not a bad idea Michael..............it still would be once a month though not every 35 days as you would play off in the first sunday after the months end but the previous month will have already started so in the end you will play this tourney every 30 odd days thereabouts depending on the length of the month...and how many days into the next month the first Sunday is.

We could do that, but I can't restrict technically the access to those tourneys, at least not for now so it will use moderation team time to double check we have only winners there
I'm for all new ideas like that, but there are so many good ones that I'm at first for automatized ones!

What we could do is give it a shot and then see if it's such a huge work for mods team or not.

well thank you boss. i am certain that everyone is happy that you obviously may consider it soon or in the future. i think i heard that this site just started last year sometime. if thats true maybe there could be a winners tourny on the week of the 1st anniversary or something. i am happy that you would even consider it. thanks for the free poker
