I was surprised to see 44 players in the 300k buyins one, could be working yes!
Perhaps 300k is a bit too much anyway, other advices or do you think it could work like that on a daily basis?

I think 300k is too much for a multi table......50k sounds good.

i'm a bit dissapointed the big tourney format will be changing, that means for now i'll only be able to play one big tourney per day.
not only that, will the really good players still want to play when it's only a 1K buy in?.where all the all in first hand croud will try there luck for 1K.
for me i can learn more in half an hour or so playing against the top players, than playing the lower entry cost mini's in days because your playing against better quality players and make a few mistakes and your gone.
my idea would be to maybe have a split tourney, maybe weekly say total chip stacks above 250/500k (the sharks) and chip stacks below 250/500k (the fish)keeping it 5k buy in this way the lower chip players could get vital experience of getting to the latter stages of a multi table tournament, i managed to get to the final table once before i was gobbled up by the sharks(no offence your just better than me) but if i could get more practice getting there i'd hopefully be better prepared in future.
