I think your questions were completely valid, and I've often thought to ask the same ones. I didn't know what the holes were for, and the dealer button question made perfect sense to me too. There is no need for such rude replies, especially since this is a place for new players to learn. Not everyone has sat at a proper poker table complete with brain holes, so why should we all know what they're for??

Valid questions, no doubt about it.

MV couldn't answer one of them, so why he felt it necessary to lambast your post I don't know. Frankly, not only was it childish it was bloody rude and unfair.

For question numero uno, I believe the suit of the card determines dealer if there the high cards are paired. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it goes Spades, Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds in descending order.

i think the answer o question one is that if two aces appear the dealer is determined on who is on the lowest seat number e.g top right is seat one going clockwise to 10 and top left is 10 so if person in seat 1 gets an ace and seat 10 gets an ace as there high cards the person in seat 1 will get to deal
