Default Fix the tournaments Part 2

As a follow up on Steve's thread, and to not step on the thought, I would like to ask a different question.

In order to determine how to change the set up I think is is important to determine what is being played and why.

Please post what games you normally play, and why you choose them and perhaps we can crunch and answer out of that pattern as to what, if anything, we should change in the set up.

I'll start:

Cash side:
SNG Double ups- under $5 - play for decent game, no bingo, good odds on winning less rake
Tournaments
Freerolls - obvious low risk
Ultra Outlaws - great game, even with the bingo, chance for a free ticket to Outlaws, which pays real cash for fake cash
Outlaws - Always a great game, good play, great players, little bingo, good payouts in real money
Regular Tournaments - usually under $1, if I have the time to devote to it.

Play Money Side:
OP Hetmens - if I am up early I will play, usually a good game, chips do not mean anything but KP's medals are something I collect with pride.
OP BritishCrown - if I am available, but usually working

In general the games are a diversion during the day and I do not play much of the practice chip rings or sng, just too much bingo and too little reason to collect play chips.

If I am invited by people I know and like I will make time to attend, or if a really good game is shaping up, but otherwise I have a life that needs living and this is entertainment, not revenue generation.

Cash side - Mtt's from $1 - $10 freezeout or re-buy/add-on's.

Freeroll - $5. $10 if I have enough pp's. ultra outlaws. outlaws if I have ticket(won't use own cash for these).

Free side - Hets or BC. But not as much as before due to work or maybe engrossed in mtt tourney and forget to reg. So if you see me on a table come and remind me to reg.

Good idea Tex.

It's late and I'm lazy so please excuse the copy/paste but you've summarized well.

Money side:
SNG Double ups- under $5 - play for decent game, no bingo, good odds

Freerolls - used to but hardly ever now. Can't be bothered playing for over 2 hours against several hundred players for a possible $1.50. Would rather spend that time on the SNG's or a money tourney. BUT, they still attract lots of players so I'm not knocking them.

Ultra Outlaws - a little less bingo compared to when they were first introduced, but still bingo lol. Chance for a free ticket to Outlaws, which pays real cash for fake cash. That's always gonna attract players.

Outlaws - good play, great players, little bingo, good payouts in real money

Regular Tournaments - up to $2 usually, but up to $5 when bankroll permits, which trust me ain't very often !

Very occasional short stints on lowest buy in rings, usually if waiting for a tourney to start and would otherwise just be twiddling my thumbs.

Play Money Side:
Hetmens on workdays. Hetmans, Wombats and NY on non workdays (jeez get a life Steve). BC very very rarely purely due to timing. Not played Mammoth much at all this year, maybe once or twice? but not for any reason other than it's timing. Yes chips don't mean anything but points, average and medals are the goals that attract me. A great way to measure yourself against others and probably more importantly against your own previous results.

Almost never play free side rings. A gigantic free chips bankroll doesn't interest me. Not knocking those that it does, just not my motivation. In fact I've seriously considered going on the rings and making myself bankrupt, in order to challenge myself at starting from scratch again. Maybe in the New Year?

Hope you get lot's of feedback with this thread

Well first and for most i consider myself a tourney player,i still play Brit Crown and NY times when possible.
Like Jimmy i like to go for higher payout tourney's on cash side, but also have a thing for capped rings,i also don't mind haveing a go at omaha.
Not haveing deposited any money to the site the Ultra tourney is a staple of my daily play, then depending on numbers and my avaliability i'l have a go at Outlaws.
So from free side, to free tickets, Outlaws, double up sit n go's to cash tourney's i have around $200.00 real cash in my account.make that $300

Haven't played there for a while but hope to play in the British Crown in 2012.
