forum brainstorm

i see the site has an offer of free chips for newbies to use the forum which is good but feel we need an something to keep them hereso i thought lets have a brainstorm for ideas,i know when i joined the forum title newbie was the first thing i wanted to get rid of and started to use the forum to try to get to the king and emperor status this seemsto have died down abit with loads of players having custom status now which is good some great names there,next idea was the credits system credits for your amount of post was good but with the intro of outlaws this killed the incentive to post for credits,so just looking for ideas that might encourage others to use forum,would like to here from the boss if he feels there is a need to try and boost the forum which i consider to be a real plus for us on op66 but under used by so many

I see in the members count we are fast approaching 100k,which for any site is great.total number of members that have posted on forum in last 24hrs around a hundred,that is a massive difference.
now the problem with people not visiting could be various reasons
the one big difference i find with the download version,is that it creats a shortcut on your computer straight to the tables.
going nowhere near the forum.the 20k for posting for newbies is a good idea but taking the ones out who just spammed for the chips not many have posted since recieving there chips.
is there anyway that the set up could be changed to go through the forum to get to the tables? might see some more activity in the forum.

great points dodge, you don't get anywhere near the forum unless you actively look for it and even then its under 'my account'and then 'go to my account' its says nothing at all about the forum...

Spread the word on tables, that we have a forum..not sure if the link works in chat, but you can try it
