Free good poker?

Hey Guys,

I'm new at poker and have been playing on sites like ********** ( name removed) and other free multiplayer sites.

One problem is that since it is free I'm not sure if the game play represents real money game play in any way. Everyone can buy in for free again so everyone just keeps going all in on stupid hands which would never happen in a money game (My guess)

Is there anyway to practice with real world conditions without putting any money in?

Any help would be appreciated.

You don't have to be mad to be here, but it sure does help!

You will find the exact same conditions here at the low-limit ring tables, and even on up, a bit... for better poker on this site, hit the 4 daily OP Tournies (NYTimes, Wombats, British Crown, Hetman's). For probably the best poker, save your chips and when you have 500,000 to put to risk, join the weekly OP Mammoth Tourney. Other good poker on this site would be the Outlaws (it's a cash tourney with a $1.10 buy-in, but in order to win a free voucher, play the Ultra Outlaw (fun, but clearly a bit of a bingo-fest). Finally, join some of the Social Groups on the site... e.g., the weekly Spread the Love (STL - see a link to the group in my signature below), the Monday Blues Buster, etc.

Overall, you will find the OP66 environment to be a friendly family --- hey, like every family, an occasional squabble will break out, but lots of love on the site!

Beware as well... addictive as hades... stay for a pinch and you'll be here forever... leave? I dare ya... you'll be back!
