Getting started in Big Tourney?

This more than likely me having a senior moment ...but... When the tournament I'm registered in starts I seem to be doing something wrong and sometimes miss the first hand. I turned off my Pop-Up blocker but when the table comes up nothing happens for a long time. I know that the tourney is probably loading but twice after a long time I minimized the table only to see my name on a table so I clicked on it and the tourney had already started. What am I doing wrong?

youre not doing anything wrong. i know a few others who enter tournies and that page opens up that says succesful. then when the tourny starts the table just doesnt open up like it is supposed to. i am not sure what the prob is if it is a browser setting or a popup blocker or a restriction for security reasons or what. but when you see the tables at the bottom of the home page for the tourny just find the table with your name on it and enter the table by clicking on the icon. i am sure that someone else who knows exactly what the prob may be will post something here for you. goood luck
