Default How many play on pay sites?

Over the last few years of playing on different no-pay sites and pay sites, I have learned that the play is completely different. Maybe because on freebie sites, no money is coming out of pocket, and you can reset for more chips. What’s your thought?

Do you play like it's your money, or freely, because you can always get more.

But as for how i play on this site. I play more freely than if it were my own money. But that being said, now iv got a generous amount of chips i dnt want 2 just throw them away so i do play a little held back sometimes.

That's my point. I won a turny today, and it seemed everyone was going all in with junk hands. You don't get the true experience. If everyone played like it was real money, then a person could gain experience as if in a real poker tournament. I wish everone played that way. I play weekly in a cash game, and I would never have to work again if they played like here. Just a thought, the next time you want to go all in with a 2 & 7 off suite.

i would neva consider playing for money. I think it would take the fun out of it. I love this site and get great enjoyment out of it. Also i've not long started playing poker and would fall flat in front of professionals .So on with the freebie poker for me lol

This is strictly for fun to me.
I'm sure that I would have a lot less fun losing as much as I do if I had to pay for it as well.

Everyone is missing my point completely here. You talk about play on a pay site not being any fun. I don’t know about you, but when you pay $20.00 out of your pocket and win $250.00, that big fun for me. I’m just saying that people play different when it’s not their money they are playing with.

I don't remember, it was a 1,000 chip buy in.

I will note that when I played in the 5,000 chip Turbo tournament play was much better. I assume if a player has more than 1,000 chips, they play a little different than someone that doesn’t.
