Default I must admit....

Hiya all.

You might rememebr this thread I made recently (What are the odds of a decent tournament?).

It is now closed due to the havoc (and strangely since Aus had nicely moderated all and erased the personal war bewteen x, y and a pig -that I love, after all-), so I have to make my last update here on a new thread.

I think the last more or less ten tournies I played were just excellent games.

Except for a few isolated calling stations (which are not a problem as long as you do not have 5 of them each hand), level of play has been the best I have seen here in a long time. Cool.

I have played good and poorly, I have hit and had bad-streaks, I got medals and got out mid game, but that is not the point.

The point is : good poker. And that makes me very happy coz I love this place and when the games are good, it is as much fun as playing serious money.

Crossing-fingers for it to last.

Indeed i have to agree todays tourney featured some of the best play ive seen in awhile in Hetmans and SternSwiss you played excellent yourself as i know you often do. I really enjoyed the tourney first time ive had fun instead of being frustrated by the eratic play in awhile. ( just wish id folded those 9s and not pulled a Matasow blow up myself lmao )

Was a very tight final table, that lasted for long, at least until 4th (argh: the worse bubble lolol). where I got kicked out.

You went out like a brave, m8

I just gave that other thread you made a read, and I'm glad it's all looking good for you now bud.

The past two games I've been in have been top notch. And I'm hoping it stays that way now.

It's part of the folklore here.

Other than that: always a pleasure to meet you at tables, hun.

O.K. Swiss ,, I read and was silent . Now Pokerpus speaks :: I play allotta outlaws tournys. These are some great tournys!!! I'll get back to OUTLAWS.chips-play is very "Doobious" at best..usually.. Online66 is the only site I've seen where chips players are good and moreso enjoy the game , Your just gonna run across people who will NOT play(by the book) here my advise ( referance my outlaws tourny stats)-ok before the advise, one mor thing,,, I play many differnt money games( it's practice for me) - I did a doubleUp(easy $ )- $5.00 ,, last night , 5 bucks on the line ,, I got 10,10 and very nervious because dillweed bets all-in pre flop ,, same as he did past 3 hands grabbing blinds, well there's one hand with 5 bucks on the line. My point should be self evident ,, but Jere it is .... (Finally)...I play POKER ...(that's good enough to win a little... I read people and play em' ' ....I commented because I like ur frustration ! Try an OUTLAWS tourny (I 'll lend ya the $1.10) I'll see crazyness a little but mostly people who know each other and when I got an all-iner ,,, I wait ,, poker IS fishing. F (forget) luck ,,,,it's skills. And ,,,o.k. Maybe some B.S. Too . Pokerpus usually charges cold hard cash for this insite,, but i'm stuck ,,, farewell !

Well, thanks for your kind offer, buddy (the 1,10$) but I could afford, even using poker money. I have an online tournament bankroll that grows consistently that has now a few zeros (more than 2) and a digit on the left which is not a zero. It started with small games (2.50$ max, rake excluded, to keep bankroll safe, I play now 20 times that buy-in so things cruise and I leave you make the math as I assume you are familiar with bankroll management principle and scales/proportions).

Nothing big: just a regular amateur hobby to which I can devote too little time, sadly.

I like OP66 and stay active here for a set of reasons, mostly related to people I love here.

So when I play a tournament here, I happy to meet folks. Sometimes I really don't care much about the game itself, for I might join tired / drunk / worse and find good to go to bed, or for many other reasons, and I am just enjoying a bit of banter.

I play basic and if things go good then I might switch to real concentration, if not (or if I am too tired / drunk to concentrate properly) I wish all fun and proceed.

If I am in the mood for a good game and have the time/space for it, then if play is shady I just make 'absurd moves', to either get out quickly or build a huge stack (since the moves are then absurd, it is of course rarely the second option and I am all fine about it) that allows me to half sit out until plays become eventually better.

I really don't have much fun in such games and usually do not have the patience to sit for an hour until things eventually cool down and become interesting to play.

If it is more than just random, I just leave. My time is worth much more than both waste or money (to me that is).

Recently, and it came quite a surprise, I have had a series of some wonderful tournaments here again (independently of my personal results). Almost every single hand I witnessed was good poker.

I wanted to acknowledge that in this new thread, for then it is a truly wonderful time that little nothing to envy (as far as pleasure and excitement) with the real thing (poker being a real stakes game).

And it is even made better by the people around, many of whom I like dearly and am genuinely happy to see on the tables.

The point where I fully agree with you is that this place is one of the best I have seen for free chips play, but I haven't tried a whole zillion of them either at all and none for a long time (except when I join a new platform to practice the buttons and all before spending money).

Good luck with your game and results to come!
