idea for sng tab

dont know if it is poss or not,but a revamp to sng tab on the free side i have an idea.
i think we pay the network for these tables and they are rarely used,could we not take out half the sngs and replace them with some ring tables of different levels.
think this way new players and older players to site would play and be able to get to know the new players and help them navigate around our site better like telling them about forum and op tourneys.
recall the tab op66 fun .
thoughts and poss if this could be done please

How would you re-work the ring games? There seems to be quite a few being used now and a good range of buy ins. As for the SNG, I agree that it would be nice if they were used after such high interest when they were not there, but that is another issue.

just add ring games instead of sng games.all ring games are for the network use,and as i understand it the sng free side is just op66.so the rings would be just for op66 giving members a chance to chat and guide the newbies around op66 ,and other members to play the rings just against op66 members

If I understand what you are suggesting, replace the existing private label SNG section with a private label ring game section?

Why would OP players be on that and not on the current ring games? I am asking as there is a buddy list where you can add your friends and simply click to see where they are playing and open that table directly.

Is there some support that if we could (and I do not yet know if it is technically possible) that it would be any more successful than the private label SNG has been?

in my opinion only more friendly to new members than the network rings,i check the new members daily and many quit after there 1st visit,im sure op66 members would welcome them better there and guide them onto forum and op tourneys

I would suggest back that the more senior members should sit on the newbies tables and repeat a welcome in the chat box, as the system creates a forum account when they sign up, but they rarely come to the forum as it is not a requirement to play.

your probly right tex,just feel its such a waste these tables not used.
was just an idea to try to make us more friendly to new members,and lets face it if you never played poker before you would not know what sng meant.
still feel we let to many new members leave here after just few hours of playing network rings go to easy,im not a rings player but hope those who do play the rings take up your point.

it has been a long on going problem on the sngs,the table has to be full before you play,you have to organise op66ers to attend,i,m sorry i for one have tried to sit at the tables without any prior organisation and a game just does not happen,i can see where your going with this tel the rings do not have to be full and newbies signing up through op66 will not get caught up in the network rings where they offen get a bad experience thinking it bis op66
