Just seems to me that alot of people seem to somehow forget that this is not your poker site,there is no co-op,no conglomeration.It is however a site where you are a member.you participate at your own free will whenever you want,In order to maintain your membership, there are a list of rules for you to agree to adhere to during your stay here.There is a forum that has been provided for discussions and help if needed,also a part of the forum has allowed your suggestions and input on the site its self.Now my friends that is where it ends.Your suggestions are forwarded to the owner,thats what we have been told,so there is nothing else for me to believe.Even if there is a large majority who favor a suggestion,It does not mean it will be given any consideration.The site Owner knows what they want,Im sure over the years your suggestions have been helpful,as we have seen some have even been implemented.But really folks thats it! There is nothing else,no votes,no democracy,and no decision making by a group of members.Just curious,Am I the only person whe gets this? or am I just completely wrong here?

I have been banned and my chat has been silenced on the tables most likely more times than any other player here.

And in all honesty, i am happy with the was this site is operated.

The mods are here for our protection, our rights and our complaints are handled properly.

I have no problem with anything!

This is a free forum, we have lots of fun here and as long as we play by the rules we all will continue to have some laughs.

chuck you are right this a business and the owner or owners are here to make money.(the cash side) they let us play on the free side and hope that some of us will play on the cash side. its there site there rules. if anyone dosent like the rules they can always play some where else. thats my two cents worth.

To me... both the mods show time and again just why they have been given the job..and they should be given the respect they deserve.
I see exactly what Ausangel is asking..there's no mystery and it's a pertinent question given the amount of people who seem to think they are somehow above the site rules..
If it wasn't for the mods, and in particular the 2 we still have, this site wouldn't be worth a second visit..and that should be obvious to anyone who has been reading the forum lately.

I would like to ask the moderators if they have any objection to another poll being started giving more options so they can get a clearer indication as to what the community needs or wants are? I realise that you are extremely busy .....but I am sure a member has the skills to set one up.

My Poll was asking a very specific question therefore only two choices were given, it wasn't asking "what the community needs or wants", that would be a totally different question that I am sure would require more choices, I was asking for a preference vote to one of the two choices.


Sharron if you would like to set your own poll on a topic, please feel free to do so.

I agree with Tel that I would like to have another option or two to choose from. In fact when I read Aus's post that was the first thing that crossed my mind. But then I stopped and thought about it and realised I had a simple choice. Either don't vote, or vote in the full knowledge that in this particular instance my vote was purely for one of the two choices suggested. What I find a bit odd is how so many people seem to have missed that point, and read all kinds of other meaning into the initial post............or am I just very naieve?..................nah, I'm not. All those other points can, have and are being discussed on other threads. So why include them on this one?

The only other thing I would add, which is ON topic in the sense that it relates to canvassing site members via a poll, is that I completely agree with Tic. To this day I still don't see why that particular poll was even started.
