I understand your trying to improve things Lava... But for me as someone who has played here everyday and night for the last 10 months made heaps of friends known the place like the back of my hand to just be shuttled off to the otherside is devistating, I know some of you think thats a bit dramatic but its how i feel . I chose this site over the others i had tried because it was friendy personal and very easy and nothing like it is over there.

At first it was all about the fact that it was a big change , but i have really tried to play over there and i cant it makes me sick to my stomach makes me sad . I know this prob doesnt mean much.

And i do remember the big stink when you decided to put the real money tables in hun and i backed you 100% when you promised us all this side would never change and so did many other old players.

I myself will be happy to put up with a bit of lag and never play the fast tables again if it means going back to what we had .I will gladly give up my avatar what ever needs doing . Give up toplist maby just have one for the multi tourny's as that is a bit of a achievment.

I just cant explain how sad this change has made me .... feel quite stupid that it has bothered me so much actually .

I just hope that you will truely listen to the people who made this site what it is , And they are all telling you hun .

No hard feelings if it doesnt go back but honestly cant say i would never play over there but only because my friends are there , but i can tell you this there is no way i would ever spend as much time playing poker there as i did.

Please just listen to your loyal members xxxxx

my only problem is the wating on sit & go been sitting on a 10 seater 5k sit & go for like 10 minutes & nobodies joined.its a real pain

I would like it if the old system came back, as it was very easy to understand and you could be on a table within a few clicks , with the new system you have to load this and click that

Yes....i guess alot of people are unhappy.

I'm unhappy because i had to give up my name 'maverik' was already taken when i tried to sign up to the new system.

Played yesterday on the new tables...again unhappy!

Its the look and feel of the tables but also the game in general, almost as if it were written by someone who doesnt play poker!

The chips are too small, the cards come out way too fast and there is no pause at the end of each hand so you can see what hands everyone had...the only way of knowing this is to look at the box of text to find out whats going on.

On the positive side, the room did load up very quickly (used to take ages with the old system) and the fast pace does have some benefits (you are not hanging about for ages waiting for people to make a move). I also like it when i fold and the cards remain in view (they used to disappear with the old system) so that you can see what could have been.

All things considered above and beyond the difficulty in accepting change itself, i think i do miss the old system...

By the way- its strange my old name- maverik works here and yet i have had to get a new name for playing the tables...

please please dont take offense!! None of these remarks are aimed at you personally hun. I must agree tho that we all want our old site back to how it was. Friends are indeed VERY much a part of our poker world here on 66 and we need it back. xxxxxxxxxxx

unhappy got name sorted and chips but the free tables just will not load tried everything but no luck its gets to 100% of stage 3 of 3 and hangs there .

No lag is good, but this new site just doesnt have the 'feel' of the other one. Just played a bit on the new KOTH and it didnt feel the same (didnt care whether I won or lost - on the old one it mattered). Dont know how else to explain it - the old site had a real 'nice feel' about it - the new one is too clinical - like too many other poker sites.

OP66 has lost its mojo.

I agree, also there are 4 people in my house that all use op66 and each have theie seperate accounts.. on the old system we could all play in the big multi table tourneys at the same time (same tables or different tables) however, this new script doesnt allow more than one person from the same ip address to enter a tourney or table thus obseleting three of the four accounts in my wireless enabled household. On top of this the tables look exactly the same as all the other poker sites i chose not to play on. i dont like the way you dont get told what your hand is, i don'talways see the best hand i have (flush) as i'm too bust concentratin the the two pairs i can see.. I liked the old system better and so do the other three people in my house..

I found the old system was better for making chips on (8k short handed was 56,000 chips for 1st place (i think) making it 7 times the initial cost to enter) and on the new system you only get 19,500 for a 6 player 5k buyin game making it 3.8(ish)x the original cost to play.

I dont like the way you seem to have to wait forever for the table to fill up.

I find the new table selecting screen confusing and the old one is much easier to use

there's prpbably more too but i'm fed up of typing now...

Please change it back, the only time i ever had any lag issues were when the big multi-table tournaments were on and this was only every five hours or so...

OK BL here is my balanced view.

Good things first..

Half hourly big tourneys .. excellent (5 hours didn't really work for me)
Table pace .. good (although they are all set up the same)
speed/lag excellent
access to money games ..good.. can play either without needing to re-log on.

Not so good..

public opinion .. on the floor
chat .. ok ish ... not enabled for visitors or once yr out of the hand
user interface .. bit clunky but workable
mini-tourneys .. having to wait till all seats are full is hopeless (may as well waste time waiting for the lag!)
avatars .. none (gives current site much of its charm)
players .. lost many of my friends .. chat seems non existent on new site with current players and level of hostility is generally higher
hand readout .. none .. was a luxury but kinda nice.
link to forum.. player names and forum names are out of sync.
dealer commentary.. old site was better half the time I can't see what my opponents were doing, even if I'm entitled to.

I know people are gonna hate me for this but looking at it dispassionaltely I think we could make it work with a few relatively minor changes. If it means BL can focus on getting one lot of code right and cut down on his costs then the long term prognosis must be good.

We need to face up to the fact that the way the site was running was unsustainable. I know Poker M you said you could live with the lag but personally I was starting to find it unusable. I have stopped playing the ultra tables and tourneys because it was just not poker and some of the big tables were taking twice as long as they needed because of the lag. At best I get an hour or 2 a day to play so I was having to just walk away from some games..

Not really a moan just trying to put the current position in context.

I would most likely complain about all of the new features that the new script offers but seeing as i am underage i am not even allowed to get that far. if the site is still free why place that law under effect? but by the sounds of it i wouldnt want to try the new site out anyways

i agree made lots of friends, finding it hard to find any of them on tables, when u do u can not talk unless u r on that table,is quicker tho, but but longer to wait 4 tables 2 fill up

never saw a zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz under the old OP66, being playing on the new one for 2 hours and seen plenty. This is one thing I hated about other poker sites, and was glad to see was never a part of OP66 - now it is.

I am naturally a fast player but never commented on the slow ones - time limits are the same and known to everyone.

Just another indication of how the new site is less friendly
