I can completely understand the issue with the MBB tourney. That one would be confusing. And I'm sorry that people came down on you so hard about it, that wasn't necessary. But Tuesday we had almost as many crashers as players...no excuse.

Can you come up with a way to correct that which are within the means and powers of Lava and the mods? I say, check the calendar, seems simple enough.

Although the International games have been going on longer, my only thought on correcting the issue with the MBB (which is the only valid mistake I can see being made) would be to change the International from Mon-Fri to Tues-Sat.

Again, may I say that this thread would not have been started, and the bans would not have been suggested if people were just following the rules. If you aren't invited on a table, why sign up for it?

i know i've said this loads of times, or maybe my insanity is getting the better of me, but why wud you register for an INVITE tourney without an INVITE? you shud feel nervous if you havent been invited! yes so many are being booked these days....coz believe it or not, thats what they are for.
Lava is trying to get people to stick to the rules, whats so farfetched about that?

sorry, this isnt right Guv...what 'all sorts' were you called and by whom? I have been on hand to oversee EVERY ONE of these tournies...it has been either myself or Jimmy who have asked players to sit out. On rare occasions others have asked yes, but you're talking betty and breezy etc who in no way are offensive to players. I have always seen how gatecrashers have been asked and i have never once seen anything less than pleasantness from the organisers, players and supporters.

You are right, didn't think of that...STL tourney

I don't see any other way to fix this then. But it was an issue before you even started the MBB, so I'm at a total loss on how to correct the Monday issue.

it wasn't on the tables hun,and had it of been i would've fully accepted it as i was in the wrong and mucked up your game'
i took exception to the hijacking of my apology thread and the ones it spawned, people getting annoyed on other peoples behalf, i know the people i upset,it was the people on the table to which i duly apolgised

ok sorry, crossed wires, its just that a similar comment was made earlier in this thread and i know nobody is made to feel uncomfortable, they may feel embarrassed, but the people who ask are always polite about it and do understand that mistakes happen. but whether you're a gatecrasher or a player, you gotta admit, something needs to be done.

i agree totally hun ,something needs to be done, but the easiest solution seems to be the hardest due to the software and network
the system has a minor flaw,( a bit harsh )and there are no easy answers as has been well documented. But i'm sure that now it has been highlighted, regulars will be weary of registering. then its just getting it across to the new players but until the system is changed there will always be that chance. What i didn't realise was that people had been asked to leave and haven't and carried on playing, don't have a problem with them being banned as that is downright rude

good point jim the only reason i like to play that tourn is that the people are good and nice no bingo there know 80 PERCENT OF U ALL FOR A LONG TIME so if u got a free spot in a county for me i stay out of a ban hard to find a dutch team here greets

hi t, the forum calender events are booked on the calender for special tourneys, if you are a member of a group or an event E you will be given the password to play by the event organiser. Keep an eye on the forums for the events to be played Or it can be booked on the calender by yourself if you wish to host an event ~Aus
